Noname-anime has been working on finding a lead artist to help produce the show. This has been a long and arduous process and we can't begin production without artists.


However, we have hired >>> <<< to develop concept art of the characters, which will be put up soon.

I am not trying to ignore you, however I have halted casting until we can get our art department all settled. Those who auditioned please await a response!

STORYLINE
Our story revolves around Ikuto, a young man who lives on his own attending Yoritomo University. To help pay for his living expenses, he works at Sudachi, a small restaurant downtown. He is in love with a popular girl in his class, Ami, who sometimes visits the restaurant. His friend Yamato tries to help Ikuto win Ami’s heart. He often fails. Luckily two of his friends from school who also work at Sudachi often cheer him up. However, one of the girls named Minori secretly has feelings for Ikuto. But... another guy has already fallen for Minori. He just happens to be one of the richest guys in town and a very pompous individual. In the end, it’s a battle for true love.

CHARACTERS
Ikuto. He is an average guy who works at a restaurant named Sudachi as a busboy. He works with his friend Minori, a waitress, and is the employee of a crazy old man who owns Sudachi. He goes to college at Yoritomo University. It is at school that he meets Ami, the apple of his eye. Despite his desperate attempts to impress her, he never gets her attention. He asks his friend Yamato for advice, but not even he can help.

Minori. (voiced by Brittany 'Bree' Anne-Faith) She is a shy girl who goes to Yoritomo University. She has a job at Sudachi as well. She has a frumpy outward appearance but this is deceiving. She is friends with a girl named Kyoto. She secretly has feelings for Ikuto, but he is so unperceptive he can never grasp it.

Yamato. A popular friend of Ikuto who is a great baseball player. He tries to help him win the affection of Ami; however it doesn’t seem to be working. Oh, and by the way he’s the vice president of the student council. Just so you know.

Ami. (voiced by Lissa Latte) A very pretty girl who Ikuto falls for. She is in many of his classes at Yoritomo University. She notices Ikuto’s feelings but ignores them, despite his pitiful attempts to gain her attention.

Kyoto. (voiced by Sara Breidenbach) Minori’s friend who also works at Sudachi. She tries to help Minori with her trouble with Ikuto, but she can never get through to him.

The Old Man. The slightly insane employer of Ikuto, Minori and Kyoto. He comes off as a kindly old fellow to his customers, but to his employees he is a slave-driver.

The Cat. The feline companion of the Old Man.

Sanada. (voiced by John Walker) The rival of Ikuto. He falls in love with Minori after he sees her hidden beauty under her frumpy appearance. He is very rich and quite obnoxious.


DEVELOPMENT
SUDACHI was created by Edward Choi and Chris Hammarberg. The story is loosely based on the lives of the creators. Development was started on July 27th, 2009. The project is currently pending on finding a lead artist. SUDACHI is being co-written by both Chris Hammarberg and Edward Choi. Chris is also in charge of directing and animation, while Edward is head of public advertising.

JOB OPENINGS
The job of lead artist is still open if anyone is interested. An applicant must be experienced in drawing in an anime style, knows how to digitally color and be dedicated and able to produce new artwork consistently.
